MIL-PRF-49080 Power Supplies, Pp-2953\(\)/U And Pp-6224\(\)/UThis specification establishes the performance and verification requirements for each of the following Power Supplies: the PP-2953\(\)/U and the PP-6224\(\)/U . The power supply furnishes 0-25 amperes over a voltage range of 24 to 32VDC from nominal 115/230 VAC at 50, 60 or 400 Hz single phase. The power supply can also operate from a 24 VDC storage battery in the battery standby mode.

Group C inspection. Group C inspection shall consist of the inspections identified
in TABLE V below. Samples shall be selected in accordance with 4.4.3.1.1.

4.4.3.1
Group C sampling.
4.4.3.1.1  Sampling for inspection (Group C). Four samples shall be selected at random
from units having passed Group B inspections within12 months after First Article completion
and within 12 months of each prior Group C sampling,. The samples shall be numbered 1
through 4. These units shall have passed Group A and B inspections. Each sample shall be
subjected to each inspection specified for the specific sample number.
4.4.3.2
Group C failures. Actions relative to Group C failures shall be as specified in
the contract.
4.4.3.3
Reinspection of conforming Group C sample units. Unless otherwise specified,
sample units which have been subjected to and passed Group C inspection may be accepted on
the contract or order provided all damage is repaired and the sample units are re-subjected to
and pass Group A inspection and the frequency-voltage-load matrix inspection of 4.5.1.2 (see
Sub-group I, TABLE V). Printed wiring assemblies shall not be repaired (3.5).

Electrical tests.

Voltage tests, input and output. Whenever test requirements call out this paragraph,
both sub-paragraphs apply.
